Puppy Packages
Bantry Bay Beardies adheres to its policy of "Bred with Pride, Raised with Love, and Sold with Honesty". We try to find quality homes for our puppies--homes that will give the puppy love throughout his life and believe in our philosophy of balance (do many activities with the dog).
All of our puppies go to their new homes with a puppy kit. The purpose of this kit is to educate you about the breed and help make the transition to the new home easier for both puppy and owners. The following items are included in each puppy kit:
- Starter pack of food that the puppy has been eating
- Video tape on rasing and caring for a new puppy
- Our own book that gives the breed history, tips on housebreaking and training, tips on grooming, and a list of other resources
- AKC registration
- Registration to the Beardie Collie Club of America
- Puppy Pedigree suitable for framing
- Certified Puppy Evaluation for both confirmation and temperment
- Grooming supplies
- Health Certificate and Record Book
- Your contract that clearly spells out your protection from genetic defects
- Small toy and other gifts and treats
- All items are wrapped in an attractive gift basket
We also encourage our new puppy families to bring a plush toy or receiving blanket so we can place it with the puppy. The toy or blanket will have the scents of the puppy nursery which makes the transition to the new home easier. We also take a family photo the day you take the puppy. This photo will be placed in the nursery on the trophey wall.
We understand that a new puppy owner can have many questions. As your breeder, we will always be available to answer your questions. We appreciate all the updates and pictures as the puppy grows. If you are not to far away, we also hope you can make our annual puppy reunion held every summer.
